In 1992 the Oswald Niedecker Metallwarenfabrik oHG factory was funded in Germany. The company specialized in the production of tools used in transforming and molding steel plates. Gradually the company evolved and became one of the world leaders in the production of clipping machines.

In 1957 the spooled clip was invented and patented. With this development arose the innovative idea to clip sausages. By 1972 Poly Clip had operations and a well know trade mark in more than 64 countries around the world. With production facilities in Germany and the US, Poly Clip offers its customers a wide range of clipping and packaging machines with application in an equally wide variety of products such as poultry, meat, sausages, fruits and vegetables, dairy products, to name some.
