As a result of their entrepreneurial spirit, their visión and service vocation of its founders, and inspired by Mr. Bismark Tapia senior, DISATYR came to life on the month of July, 1985, in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

The full support and confidence we received from our first suppliers, Cenavisa, Wallace International and Novatec Pagani, were of great importance during the first stages of the company.

As we increased our knowledge and understanding of the market, and its needs, more product lines were added to our array of quality options. Our sales force had to be increased consequently to be able to cover our expanding market.

Our first mayor expansion took place three years after in 1988 when we open a branch office in Tegucigalpa, Honduras to improve our service to the customers in the center and south of the country.

Ever since we have permanently worked to take our products and personalized service to as many customers as possible. As part of this effort and facing the regionalization of the Central American economies we exported our vision to other countries in the area. In 1990 we opened in Managua, followed by San Salvador in 1991, and finally Guatemala where we opened in 1997.

We are proud to contribute with the development and enhancement of the food production industry in Central America, offering products and service options to satisfy our customer needs, helping them take their companies to higher levels of technology and efficiency.
